Senior Audit Manager / Audit Manager

We are seeking a senior audit manager or audit manager to join our audit department.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED WITH MTHNK IN THIS POSITION:

  • Licensed CPA.
  • 6+ years of financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Ability to manage and supervise audit and attestation engagements of clients in various industries, in accordance with relevant professional standards.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters PPC Guides and AdvanceFlow audit engagement software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to stay current on developing audit and accounting standards.
  • Effective time management skills with an ability to organize and prioritize projects.
  • Ability to maintain and promote a positive attitude and work environment.
  • Strive for continued personal and professional growth.
  • Desire to work and live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

We are seeking a certified public accountant to join our tax department.

  • Broad understanding of QuickBooks.

CPA EXAM

Our firm has developed a culture to promote, encourage, and reward efforts to pass the Uniform CPA Examination as soon as possible. We reimburse for certain expenses incurred in connection with obtaining professional certification. Employees passing all parts of the exam are eligible for a bonus.
