Carol A. Hill, CPA

Carol joined the firm in 1980 after graduating from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in accounting. She became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1983 and has been a partner at the firm since 1992. Carol specializes in taxation and planning for businesses, banks and individuals, including retirement and succession planning and other tax related consulting services. She is active in the Marquette community, including being a 30 year member of the Zonta Club of the Marquette area. Born and raised in Escanaba, she currently lives in Ishpeming with her husband, Bert. They have three grown children, Heidi, Marla, and Nolan.

Paul joined the firm in 1989 after graduating from Michigan Technological University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in accounting. He became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1991 and has been a partner at the firm since 2001. Paul specializes in audit, attest and accounting services for clients in the private, not-for-profit and financial institution sectors. He is active in professional and civic organizations including the Marquette Rotary Club, and is a member of the College of Business Dean's Advisory Council at Northern Michigan University. Born and raised in Iron River, he currently lives in Marquette with his wife, Kathy and son, Austin.

Kara joined the firm in 2005 after graduating from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting/computer information systems. She became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2006 and has been a partner at the firm since 2018. Kara works with individual and business clients, specializing in taxation and planning for individuals, trusts, and estates. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Marquette County and the Board of Directors of the Superior Health Foundation. Kara is a member of the Marquette Noon Kiwanis, the Economic Club of Marquette County, and is active in her church. She is a 2013 graduate of the Lake Superior Leadership Academy. Born and raised in Marquette, she resides in Negaunee Township with her husband, Chris.
